The Indonesian Festival Brisbane, most popularly known as "Pesta Rakyat" will be held on Sunday October 3, at the renowned Brisbane Powerhouse.

This is an event dedicated to celebrating Indonesia's Independence Day, where each year the festival follows a certain theme to add flavour to the the atmosphere.

This time around the festival is celebrating the Indonesian heritage; so be sure to experience the richness of our culture.

All things Indonesian will be showcased in one major event; everything from modern art, music, dances, fashion, games, crafts and not to mention the magnificent foods!

You can also look forward to participating in our interactive workshops and traditional games. We've even flown renowned entertainers all the way from Indonesia to spark up your night!
